I attended "Del" from Grade 7 to 12. The challenging academic environment, including 11 AP exams, taught me resilience and adaptability in all aspects of learning.

Activities and societies: Jazz band (2 yrs), rock band (4 yrs), Duke of Edinburgh (4 yrs), Del Mathematical Society (3 yrs as researcher and leader), Del Poet Society (3 yrs), and Del Literary Magazine (2 yrs as founder and editor-in-chief).

Research Mentorship

July 2025 - June 2026

I studied braid theory under Professor Glynn-Adey at the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus. I participated in a reading course with a fourth-year undergraduate student over the course of a semester. After, I finished on a paper as part of my AP Capstone program with the help of Dr. Glynn-Adey. My research explored the connection between textile artistry and mathematical braid theory, which had been previously overlooked.

Provide one-on-one lessons for high school and university-level students in mathematics, physics, and English. Plan guided sessions with a focus on adaptability, empathy, and understanding.

Assisted students with homework help, guiding them through problem solving and studying within the Spirit of Math curriculum. Taught advanced topics to youth spanning kindergarten to grade eleven.
